LAKEWOOD, NJ — The Lakewood community is collecting used taleisim for the Chevra Kadisha of Bergen County, giving them one last mission and perhaps their most important yet.

Kanfei Yehuda announced the drive in a post Tuesday on Lakewood Scoop asking residents to donate taleisim that are still in good condition.

The donated taleisim will be professionally cleaned and given to the Chevra Kadisha of Bergen County.

Residents can drop off taleisim on the porch at 115 Arbutus Drive in Lakewood or call 908-670-1791 for more information.
