PARAMUS, NJ – The Valley Hospital has earned multiple national honors for orthopedic surgery, joint replacement and stroke care, including recognition among America's 50 best hospitals in two outpatient orthopedic categories, according to Healthgrades' 2027 rankings released Tuesday.
The Paramus hospital was named one of America's 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery for the second consecutive year and one of America's 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Joint Replacement for the fourth straight year.
Valley is one of just 24 hospitals nationwide and three in New Jersey to receive both distinctions for 2027.
The hospital also earned a spot among America's 100 Best Hospitals for Stroke Care for the tenth consecutive year, making it one of seven New Jersey hospitals to receive the designation.
Valley received Healthgrades' Stroke Care Excellence Award for the eleventh consecutive year.
In statewide rankings, the hospital placed second for stroke care and among the top three for neurosciences.
Healthgrades evaluates approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide using clinical outcomes, including risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates, across more than 30 common medical conditions and procedures.
“At The Valley Hospital, our mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate specialty care,” said Robert Brenner, president and CEO of Valley Health System. “We are proud to be recognized by Healthgrades, which highlights the dedication of our teams in orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, stroke care, and neurosciences.”
The latest distinctions reflect the hospital's performance in Healthgrades' clinical outcome evaluations rather than patient satisfaction surveys.
