PALISADES INTERSTATE PARKWAY — A vulnerable woman reported missing Wednesday night has been found safe, bringing a large multi-agency search to a successful conclusion.

The search centered near Exit 1 of the Palisades Interstate Parkway, where Palisades Interstate Parkway Police were assisted by volunteers from Rockland Chaverim and Bergen Chaverim. Rockland Chaverim also deployed its specialized Search & Rescue team to assist in the operation.

Throughout the search, Bergen Hatzalah and Rockland County Hatzalah remained on standby in the event medical assistance was needed.

Authorities later confirmed the woman was safely located at a different location, ending the search.

While the woman was ultimately found elsewhere, the response highlighted the close coordination between law enforcement and the region's frum volunteer organizations. Chaverim and Hatzalah members from both sides of the New Jersey-New York border worked seamlessly together, mobilizing search resources and medical support within minutes of the call for help.

Officials have not released additional details about where the woman was found or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

No further information has been released.
