TENAFLY, N.J. — One of Bergen County's top high school basketball players is taking his talents to the college level.

Tenafly standout Adin Goldschneider announced Sunday that he has committed to Babson College, capping a breakout junior season that established him as one of the county's premier guards.

The 6-foot-1 rising senior averaged 20.4 points per game last season, doubling his scoring average from his sophomore campaign, and helped lead Tenafly to a 24-3 record.

Goldschneider, the son of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" personality Jackie Goldschneider, delivered several signature moments during the season, including the game-winning basket in the Frank M. Dawson Holiday Tournament championship and a 10-point performance in Tenafly's upset victory over Don Bosco Prep in the Bergen County Jamboree.

His commitment also comes as the Goldschneider family has become increasingly outspoken in the Jewish community following the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel.

Last year, Jackie Goldschneider described herself on Instagram as "what's sometimes called an October 8th Jew," explaining that while she had "always been Jewish," the day after the attacks marked a turning point in her identity.

She wrote that she suddenly felt "so alone being Jewish, and yet, so connected to my community," adding that "being Jewish, battling antisemitism and fighting for the hostages is an important part of my everyday life."

Babson, a Division III program in Massachusetts, is known nationally for its business curriculum and has consistently fielded one of the top basketball programs in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference.

Goldschneider will return to Tenafly for his senior season before heading to Babson, where he'll look to build on one of the most productive high school careers in Bergen County.
