TEANECK, N.J. — A lucky Bergen County lottery player is holding a $160,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot ticket after buying the winning slip at a Teaneck 7-Eleven — marking the second time in three days the game’s top prize has been hit.
The winning ticket from Tuesday night’s, July 28, drawing was sold at the 7-Eleven on Teaneck Road, the New Jersey Lottery announced. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The win comes just days after two other New Jersey lottery players split a $2 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in Sunday’s drawing.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were 02, 16, 29, 32 and 42. The XTRA number was 03, and the Bullseye number was 02.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 12 players matched four numbers plus the Bullseye to win $500 each. One of those tickets also included the XTRA option, boosting the prize to $1,000.
The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot will reset to $150,000 for Wednesday night’s drawing.
The Teaneck winner’s identity was not immediately released.
Jersey Cash 5 is a daily New Jersey Lottery game in which players choose five numbers from 1 through 45. Players can add the XTRA option for a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times, while the Bullseye provides another opportunity to win.
Drawings are held every night at 10:57 p.m.
The latest jackpot adds to a string of recent lottery wins across New Jersey, with Bergen County players once again finding themselves among the state’s biggest winners.
