TEANECK, N.J. — The MVC is on wheels and in Teaneck.

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission's mobile unit is now set up at Votee Park, giving residents a chance to handle certain MVC business without making the trip to a regular MVC agency.

The mobile unit is at the Votee Park Field House, 1129 Palisade Ave.

Appointments are required.

To book an appointment, go to:

https://telegov.njportal.com/njmvcmobileunit/

Select Bergen (Teaneck VFH) and choose the service you need.

The MVC says each person needs a separate appointment. The state also warns that mobile-unit events can be canceled, so check your email or text messages before heading out.

The mobile visit was highlighted on social media by Teaneck Town Council candidate Avi Berliner.
