TEANECK, N.J. — UVeye, the Israeli-founded vehicle inspection technology company with its U.S. headquarters in Teaneck, is expanding into Canada as demand for its artificial intelligence-powered vehicle scanning systems continues to grow across North America.

The company announced Thursday that its computer vision inspection systems are now operating at dealerships in British Columbia and Ontario, with additional Canadian installations planned throughout 2026.

UVeye's technology scans vehicles in seconds as they enter a dealership service lane, automatically identifying issues including tire wear, underbody damage, fluid leaks, dents and scratches. The system generates a digital condition report that service advisers can immediately share with customers, along with high-resolution appraisal photos.

"Canada is a natural next step for us," said Omer Bar Joseph, UVeye's chief revenue officer. "Canadian roads are hard on vehicles, and much of that damage hides underneath, exactly where our systems look first."

He said early adoption by Canadian dealerships demonstrates the market is ready for more consistent, technology-driven vehicle inspections.

Among the first Canadian dealerships to install the system are Comox Valley Toyota and Cranbrook Toyota, both part of British Columbia's Trotman Auto Group.

"We invested in UVeye because it delivers more consistent inspections while helping us identify items that might otherwise be overlooked," said Virgil Davies, fixed operations manager at Comox Valley Toyota. "We believe innovations like UVeye represent the future of automotive service."

The Canadian expansion comes as UVeye continues its rapid global growth. The company recently announced it raised $191 million in new funding, bringing its total capital raised to more than $380 million.

Founded in Israel by brothers Amir and Ohad Hever, UVeye has become one of the fastest-growing companies in the automotive technology sector. Often described as an "MRI for vehicles," its AI-powered platform is used by major automakers, dealerships, fleet operators and logistics companies, including Amazon and General Motors.

The company said it now has more than 1,000 systems deployed or under contract across North America, collectively analyzing millions of vehicles each month.

The expansion further cements Teaneck's role as the North American base for one of Israel's fastest-growing AI companies, as UVeye continues to scale its technology to new markets around the world.
